This outfit post is a bit different than my usual #OOTD. Why, you ask? Because I’m wearing something other than skinny jeans. Gasp, shock, surprise! Granted, I didn’t go too far out on a limb, I’m just wearing a different cut of jeans. Folks, meet my flare jeans and oversized sweater combo.

When I went up to Kittery Premium Outlets before Christmas, I picked up this sweater at PacSun (sorry, can’t find it online) and this hat at Old Navy. I can’t stop giggling knowing I’m wearing a sweater from the Kendall & Kylie line at PacSun. Am I 28 or 18?! I also picked up this absurd leopard coat from their line because 2017 is going to be my year.

Anywho, back to the subject at hand. When I purchased this extremely oversized sweater I assumed I’d only ever wear it with skinny jeans and flats … aka every other outfit I wear in the winter. But when I picked up these Lucky jeans at TJMaxx, I figured I’d try something new and pair them together. A last minute source of inspiration had me topping off the look with my new hat, which garnered lots of compliments from almost definitely drunk strangers.Flare Jeans and Oversized Sweater Flare Jeans and Oversized Sweater

This outfit has more of a ’70s vibe than I’m used to, but I’m digging it. I hear from the hip people that the ’70s are back. I’m not sure it’s the most figure-flattering outfit I’ve ever created, but it’s chic and cozy for the chilly winter days that are ahead.
