When I bought these red pants from Target the other weekend, I didn’t even realize Valentine’s Day was around the corner. Sure, red ankle pants aren’t the most romantic clothing item out there, but whatever floats your boat, right?

My boyfriend and I don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day, so these are more of any-day pants than romance pants. That and because romance pants aren’t a thing. I recently scooped up this blue blouse from TJMaxx and I thought the navy paired nicely with the red. And that, my dears, is how we ended up with this here outfit post.

Outside of Valentine’s Day, I think I’ll get a lot of wear out of these red ankle pants. I’ll be able to pair them with a top and blazer, a sweater and so much more. I have these exact same pants in black AND grey and they’re the only pairs of dress pants I own.

    I want those red pants! I just saw some in either the Garnet Hill or Land’s End or Gap catalogue but good to know those are at Target! So cute

    I adore pants that are different colors. I have berry/burgundy colored ones and Christmas tree colored ones that I really enjoy wearing! <3
