I’m not a huge skirt fan. I feel like I’m always rearranging my shirt and skirt. Very upsetting. I’m more of a pants/tops or dress girl myself, but I couldn’t resist this wrap front skirt when I saw it at Nordstrom Rack.

When I spotted this Anne Klein wrap front skirt in Nordstrom Rack last month, I thought to myself, “Hey, self, this skirt is appropriate enough for work but the slit makes it super fun for after work. Buy it!” So I bought it. Obviously, since I’m wearing it.

You might not notice at first that it has a wrap front/slit, but trust me, once I sit down and try to cross my legs, you’ll notice. Those photos were purposefully not uploaded. It might not be as work-appropriate as I had originally thought. While I’ve decided to keep this skirt for standing-only occasions, I still love it’s fun pattern and relatively neutral color scheme.

I always loved wrap skirts. I wore them in HS, and I think they were reversible. I also had Danskin wrap skirts too. Yours looks great. I like the pattern. I wish I could remember whether I had a problem when seated. I know the Danskin skirt had a lot of fabric since it was for dancing, and the other skirts I think wrapped all the way across the front so there was no front slit like you mentioned. Standing only is tough!

I haven’t worn a skirt in years. I guess I’m getting lazy in my dressing style.

That skirt is very cute, but that’s too bad about the dangerous slit. lol I like wrap dresses, but most of mine are longer. 🙂
