I’ve been following Jenna since recently after she started blogging and love her sense of classic and fun style. It’s been fun to watch Jenna’s blog grow and evolve over the past two years and I always enjoy when we get to catch up at events. Now let’s hear from the woman herself!
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN BLOGGING AND WHAT MADE YOU START?
Just over two years! I was always reading other blogs and was really into taking pictures. After my husband and I had our wedding celebration, he asked me why I didn’t create one of my own. I was missing the creative energy of wedding planning (my full time gig is in a pretty corporate environment) so I thought it was as good a time as any to start my own!
TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT BOSTON CHIC PARTY
When someone asks what kind of blog I write I say it is a lifestyle blog only because I’m not sure how else to describe it. Basically, I write about anything and everything that makes me happy! From fashion to baking up sweet treats to planning parties to creating new cocktail recipes, I write about a bit of everything with of course a New England twist.
WHO IS YOUR BLOGGER CRUSH?
Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere – I’ve followed her for years and love her style, but also how she incorporates other things besides just fashion into her blog.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE POST YOU’VE EVER WRITTEN?
Some of my favorite posts to write are about travel – it is something that is important to me and a great way to remember the trip through a post after. It is so hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to I would pick the posts I wrote about our trip to Paris!
